Is Golf With Friends Cross Platform?
Unfortunately, Golf With Friends does not offer the option for cross-platform play. If you and your buddies are using different gaming devices like Xbox, PlayStation, or PC, you won’t be able to join each other on the virtual golf course.
After all, a game called Golf With Your Friends should ideally allow you to play with your friends, regardless of the devices you all have. But, If you and your friends have the same type of gaming console or PC, then that works. You can play together, and there won’t be any compatibility issues.
However, if your friends happen to have the game on a different device, there’s no way for them to join your game. They’d need to switch to the same type of console or gaming platform that you’re using. This can be a bit frustrating, especially at a time when many big games have embraced cross-platform play.
In these other games, friends playing on Xbox, PlayStation, PC, and even some mobile devices can all come together for a gaming session. Unfortunately, Golf With Friends is yet to allow crossplay.

Well, it often comes down to technical and logistical challenges because different gaming platforms have their unique systems, rules, and ecosystems, making it complex to ensure a smooth gaming experience across all of them.
If you ask me, developers need to invest extra time and effort into making cross-platform play possible, and not all games prioritize or manage to achieve this.
Perhaps, in the future, we’ll see updates or versions of the game that bridge this gap, but for now, it’s best to stick to the same consoles if you want to hit the virtual greens together
