We Were Here Together, Chapter 1 Walkthrough

Chapter 1 – The Signal

In Chapter 1, titled “The Signal,” players encounter a signal transmitter on the house rooftop and another one inside the house.

One player will stay on the rooftop and adjust the transmitter’s frequency to display a colored line on the screen. While the other goes down into the house and recreates the wave shown by the rooftop player.

Four waves need to be matched, three being musical and one transmitting coordinates. Once completed, they proceed to a room with a large map.

Chapter 1 – The Map

In the room where the Map is located, you will recall the radio messages (Charlie 753; Beta 754; Delta 195; Echo 469; Beta 481; Charlie 447) heard in the house and use two levers to align a slider with three marked circles on the map. Incorrect markings result in a failure signal and the need to restart.

Chapter 1 – Snowmobil

In the final part, titled “Snowmobil,” players prepare a snowmobile. One player goes to the tank near the car, while the other heads to the two tanks outside the house. They must set the levers to specific numbers to reach number 6 on the machine inside the garage.

Inside the garage, you’ll find the following numbers:

Outside, on the levers, you can use the following numbers:

• 5

The player outside should pull the lever marked with the number 7 on both tanks, while the player near the car pulls the lever marked with the number 8.

Chapter 2 – The Wall

As players venture forward Into Chapter 2, they encounter an old, broken mine with paired wooden elevators on both sides. Lifting one elevator on the left lowers the other on the right. To pass the puzzle, they must follow these steps:

• First, both players approach two elevators marked with diamonds for an introduction to the puzzle’s rules.
• Next, the player on the right steps onto the elevator with the dynamite mark, while the player on the left goes down twice on the corresponding elevator, lifting the right one.
• Then the player on the right moves along the roof of the elevator takes it up once, and returns to the elevator with dynamite.
• The player on the left lifts the elevator with dynamite, lowering the right one. Meanwhile, the player on the right enters the elevator marked with the mine car, rises to the top, and moves along the roof of the pickaxe elevator to reach the one with the dinosaur skull.
• The player on the right lowers the dinosaur skull elevator once, then returns to the pickaxe elevator, lowers it once, and goes back to the dinosaur skull elevator.
• On the left side, the player goes to the elevator with a specific mark, rises to the top, and, through the roof of the pickaxe elevator, reaches the elevator with the dinosaur skull.
• Both players take turns going up to the cave passages and finding two levers that must be simultaneously held to open the gate to the cave and proceed to the next chapter.

We Were Here Together, Chapter 3 Walkthrough

Chapter 3 – Frozen Tracks

In Chapter 3, – Frozen Tracks, you find yourselves trapped in a cave with multiple levers that open gates of the same color. To escape, follow these steps with your friend (P1 and P2):

• P1 goes left, and P2 closes the passage by pulling the red lever on the right. P1 reaches the blue lever.
• Both P1 and P2 pull their respective levers and stand on the platforms near the first gate. They rotate counterclockwise together.
• P1 moves down the right corridor to the next platform through the blue gate (P2 can still control the lever). P1 turns the platform counterclockwise, passing by the yellow lever and activating it.
• P1 returns along the same path, asking P2 to pull the blue lever again.
• Repeat the process: P1 goes into the left passage, P2 closes it with the red lever, and P1 reaches the blue lever once more.
• Continue following these steps to escape the cave with your friend’s help.

We Were Here Together, Chapter 4 walkthrough

Chapter 4 – Misty Valley

In Chapter 4 – Misty Valley, you’ve gained your freedom, but the next puzzle awaits. Standing before a vast abyss with the start of a bridge, this puzzle involves one player constructing the bridge using a cave mechanism while the other player steps on it to cross.

To proceed, enter a small, dark cave and activate the lever on the left to set the mechanism in motion. Align the symbols on the bridge correctly in this order: Star (center) ~ Sun ~ Moon ~ Jupiter ~ Stars ~ Universe. This alignment allows a line to be drawn through them.

The player on the bridge must step on each symbol sequentially. After the Stars section, the bridge splits into two parts.

The player on the bridge should head left to the part with the Universe symbol and wait there until the player in the cave rebuilds the bridge.

Now, the player in the cave mentally draws a line starting from the Universe: Universe ~ Stars ~ Comet ~ Eclipse ~ Moon ~ Sun.

The player on the bridge follows this line, starting from the Universe, passing through the Stars, and turning to the section with the Comet symbol. If the cave player arranged the characters correctly, the bridge will be passable to the end.

Be cautious not to break the line by moving the symbols aside, as it will cause the bridge to lower, risking the player’s fall. Stay mindful to successfully cross the bridge.

We Were Here Together, Chapter 5 walkthrough

Chapter 5 – Two Paths

In Chapter 5 – Two Paths, both players start in separate locations, each with a chessboard image. These chessboards are then combined. One player has the ability to place spheres with elements on the board, while the other can draw lines between them.

On the left and right sides of the wall, you will find notes with combinations to solve the riddle. To crack the puzzle, follow the instructions provided in the accompanying screenshot.

Chapter 6 – Strange Encounters

In Chapter 6 – Strange Encounters, to progress further, one of the players must take a candle and go down to encounter a riddle involving electric wires.

One player has a round plate with colored lines on the wall, while the second player has wired poles. In the middle of the room, there’s a table with a lever supplying electricity and capsules with colored lines matching those of the second player. These capsules must be inserted into the poles in the correct order.

The player with the poles must arrange the capsules from the entrance to the end in the same sequence as the second player’s plate, starting with blue-blue, then red-blue, 1 yellow, yellow-green, 1 blue, and finally red-green.

However, be cautious as this riddle is time-limited. The longer you take to solve it, the lower a large ball in the pillar room descends.

If it touches the water, the player in that room will perish, and the riddle will have to be restarted. Act quickly to avoid a fatal outcome.

We Were Here Together, Chapter 7 walkthrough

Chapter 7 – Overgrown

In this chapter, both players need to collect four pieces of pipe in their respective rooms to arrange them correctly and prevent leaks.

Three tanks need to be filled with green, orange, and purple flames, while levers in one room provide red flames, and in the other, yellow and blue flames.

Chapter 7 – The Fountain

In the two-lever room, one player must go to the empty fountain and turn the valve to initiate the puzzle. The puzzle is time-limited, and water flows in, causing the stairs on the side to rotate.

The player in the fountain must climb the stairs gradually while the second player rotates them in parts through a special mechanism in their room.

Each stair corresponds to a specific symbol indicated on the ceiling above the fountain, starting with Jupiter, Stars, Sun, Big Star, and Moon. A line of gears from the center to the desired ladder is used to rotate the stairs.

Listen to the second player’s instructions on when to rotate and stop. There are fixed tiers between the symbols, and they must be reached on the marked tiers before exiting the reservoir.

Chapter 7 – Poisons

In one room with a reservoir, there are three taps with fluids of green, orange, and purple colors. In the garden, you’ll find seeds, bags, and scoops to grow fruits.

Plant the necessary seeds on the bed and water them with the correct liquid based on recipes from the other player’s room.

In the other room, you’ll find equipment, including one device with two slots and another with three slots. Use the recipes to combine ingredients in the correct slots.

The rooms of the two players are connected by rails with trolleys to transfer resources for the potions. One player places objects in a trolley and presses a lever, while the other picks up these items and uses them as needed.

You need to brew three different poisons and then combine them to create a deadly poison to defeat the carnivorous plant.

After creating the black potion, fill it in the sprayer and transfer the device to the other player, who will spray it on the huge plant storing the second stone. Retrieve the stone after completing the puzzle…
